Exhibition & Conference Centre

This is a prominent city centre exhibition centre, with an expected high visitor through put. It had high prominence during the Centenary celebrations of the Irish Rebellion.

Renaissance Engineering provided the full building services design and the exhibition lighting, emergency lighting and exit signage. The use of natural light in the open public areas and lighting in the exhibition areas, which had dark walls, floors and ceilings required two different solutions. 

The design of the space heating and ventilation had to be unobtrusive and silent running during lectures & seminars, while catering for large numbers of visitors.

Renaissance Engineering also provided the project management role:

• Tender analysis & recommendation for contractor appointment
• Ongoing cost control during the construction phase to ensure that the project is delivered on budget
• Recommendations for the Interim Evaluations payment to the appointed M&E contractors
• Final account settlement with appointed M&E contractors
