This project was for a new cafeteria and kitchen on the ground floor in a prestigious dance studio in London. The fit out was to a high standard and it included the main foyer of the building.
Renaissance Engineering were the consulting engineers, responsible for the full mechanical and electrical design and meeting all relevant British Standards. The design had to be undertaken so as not to affect the “Quiet Enjoyment” for any of the existing tenants or the rest of the building. The cafeteria equipment selected, such as grilles & louvres, heaters and the like had to blend into the overall design by the Architects.
Renaissance Engineers provided the full design for the ventilation, space heating and cooling, the lighting and power. Equally, we designed all of the cooking, hot and cold water, refrigeration and storage in the kitchen, including the fire suppression system. All systems had to meet approval and be certified by the relevant Public Health and Statutory Authorities.
