Energy Plant

Renaissance Engineering - Energy Plant

Project Description

This is a major recycling plant near Croydon, Surrey. It will produce 28 Megawatts of power from recycled waste that was previously sent to land fills.

Renaissance are working on this with Selwyn Building Services to provide the cooling, ventilation, water services, BMS and controls for the main plant and the adjoining administration building.

There are large heat loads in the main electrical rooms and these need to cooled with correctly sized CRAC units.

Equally, the main transformer rooms have a need for high air flow to ensure that these units are cooled on the hottest day the South of England experiences.

The AHU's, that supply fresh air to offices and the main plant, have to have filtration to handle foul odours that may occur in a recycling plant
